OVERVIEW
Proposals will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and you will be notified within 30 days of your submission. Webinar proposals must relate directly to topics important to law librarians and legal information professionals, and address domain and skill areas identified within the AALL Body of Knowledge. Partners are encouraged to submit proposals at any time.
Details
- Cost: $2,995 per webinar
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Maximum Attendance: 1,000 people during live broadcast
- Attendee Cost: Complimentary for AALL members and your guests; $60.00 for Nonmembers.
- Platform: GoToWebinar, provided by AALL
- Timeline: AALL will develop a timeline and work with you to finalize the program details.
- Partner webinars are scheduled monthly from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm or 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. central on Tuesday.
- A dry run is scheduled about a week before the live broadcast to ensure seamless production.
- Contract: Complete the Partner Webinar contract form first before submitting your proposal.

* Webinars will be promoted in the AALL Events Calender and in the monthly AALL Education Update after payment is received until the date of the webinar. All promotions dependent on receiving information and materials from vendor in a timely manner.
Terms + Conditions
- AALL will contact you if your desired webinar date is not available.
- Each webinar is limited to 60 minutes and 1,000 attendees.
- More than one vendor may participate in a webinar.
- Vendors will be invoiced (net 30) with signed contact. Webinar promotions will not begin until payment is received. No refunds will be given.
- Webinar cannot be canceled after payment has been received.
- AALL will provide the webinar platform and slide deck template; vendors are responsible for moderator/speaker and any other production costs.
- Content may not be solely product-driven, must offer compelling educational topics, is subject to approval by AALL, and must be submitted on or before the published deadlines.
- Vendor deliverables include: vendor logo(s), webinar title and description, moderator/speakers names, bios, and headshots, and slides.
Vendors must use the AALL slide template; alternations are not permitted.
GUIDELINES
AALL staff will email you the AALL Partner Webinar Proposal Form to create your proposal. Please be clear and succinct when providing partner webinar details.
1. Length: Recommended lengths for webinars range from 60 minutes.
2. Title: It should pique the reader’s interest.
3. Date:
4. Description: Write a short description that can be used for marketing.
5. Takeaways: Provide 2-3 key points the audience will learn from this webinar.
6. Body of Knowledge Domain(s): Topics need to adhere to the AALL Body of Knowledge (BoK).
7. Target Audience: Who will benefit the most from attending this webinar? (Be specific but think outside the type-of-library box, too.)
8. Speakers: Please list speakers’ names, job titles, and institutions. Include email addresses and short bios (you can provide links to speaker bios).
9. Moderator: Please list moderator name, job title, and institution. Include email address and short bio (you can provide link to moderator bio).
10. Coordinator: Provide the name, job title, and institution of the person who will coordinate the webinar. This person will work with colleagues to support the program.
11. Headshots: Upload the moderator(s) and speaker(s) headshots in JPEG format.
12. Audience Engagement: What participant engagement strategies have you considered to keep the audience engaged during the webinar (i.e., poll questions, eye-catching slides, big ideas, case studies, learning to-do’s, etc.)?
